National University of Singapore
Post-Doc, Asia Research Institute
About
I have recently completed my doctoral studies in anthropology at the Australian National University. My research was an in-depth ethnography of the Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) in Indonesia. My focus on MCC has fed into ongoing interests in Christian alternatives to mainstream development praxis and an ethics/theology of service.
I am now a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Asia Research Institute in the National University of Singapore. Along with continuing my research on MCC I will also kick start a new research project on 'secular' development in Southeast Asia.
